Holy Spirit, do not depart from me.

Amen. "Holy Spirit, do not depart from me" is a prayer of desperation and dependence—a cry for the abiding presence of God's Spirit to remain with you, to guide you, to comfort you, and to empower you. It is the prayer of a heart that knows it cannot live without Him.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me." (Psalm 51:11)

"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth." (John 14:16-17)

"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:30)

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you." (Acts 1:8)

"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." (Galatians 5:25, NKJV)

🔥 What It Means for the Holy Spirit to Remain

This Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

He Is Your Helper He strengthens and guides you. "He will give you another advocate to help you." (John 14:16)

He Is Your Teacher He leads you into all truth. "The Spirit of truth... will guide you into all the truth." (John 16:13)

He Is Your Comforter He brings peace in times of trouble. "The Comforter, the Holy Spirit." (John 14:26, KJV)

He Seals You He marks you as God's own forever. "You were sealed for the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:30)

🙏 A Prayer of Dependence

Father,

I come before You with a humble heart,

Asking that Your Holy Spirit would never depart from me.

I cannot live without His presence.

I cannot walk without His guidance.

I cannot stand without His power.

Let His presence fill me.

Let His voice guide me.

Let His peace guard me.

I surrender my life to You.

I open my heart to Your Spirit.

I trust in His abiding presence.

"Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me." (Psalm 51:11)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Dependence

I declare today:

The Holy Spirit will not depart from me.

He is my helper, my teacher, my comforter.

He dwells in me and seals me as God's own.

I will not grieve the Spirit.

I will listen to His voice.

I will walk in His ways.

For the Spirit of God lives in me,

And He will never leave me.

"I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever." (John 14:16)

💎 A Final Encouragement

The Holy Spirit is not a distant force—He is a living Person who dwells in you, walks with you, and longs to fill every part of your life. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in His abiding presence. Walk in step with Him. And let Him lead you into all truth.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1)

Holy Spirit, do not depart from me—I am Yours. 🙏🔥💙
