Bless me like an Eagle.

 Amen. This is the prayer of a heart that wants to rise—not just survive, but soar.

"Those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired." — Isaiah 40:31 (AMP)

What It Means to Be Blessed Like an Eagle:

· To rise above the storm. Eagles don't avoid storms—they use the wind currents to lift them above the clouds. You are not exempt from trials, but you rise above their chaos and see from heaven's perspective.

· To have renewed strength. Eagles molt and are renewed. You don't soar on yesterday's strength. Each day, He gives fresh grace, fresh mercy, fresh power.

· To fix your eyes on the sun. Eagles are said to gaze into the sun. You fix your eyes on the Son, and He becomes your focal point, your direction, your source.

· To dwell in high places. Eagles nest on rocky crags, inaccessible to predators. You dwell in the secret place of the Most High, safe in the cleft of the Rock.

· To be carried by the wind of the Spirit. Eagles don't flap frantically—they spread their wings and catch the thermal currents. You don't strive—you rest in His Spirit and are carried.

A Prayer to Be Blessed Like an Eagle:

"Lord,

Bless me like an eagle.

Lift me above the storms that rage below.

Give me the perspective of heaven

so I can see my problems from Your vantage point.

I am tired of running and growing weary.

I am tired of walking and stumbling.

Teach me to wait on You—

to sit in Your presence until Your strength becomes mine.

Let the wind of Your Spirit catch these wings of faith.

Carry me to high places I cannot reach on my own.

Set my feet upon the rock,

and let my dwelling place be with You.

I fix my eyes on You, the Sun of Righteousness.

As I gaze upon Your face,

let me be changed from glory to glory.

Let me fly, Lord.

Let me fly like an eagle."
