Lord, take away my sin and burden

Amen. This is the prayer He has been waiting to hear—not because He didn't know your need, but because He longs for you to release it into His hands.

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]." — Matthew 11:28 (AMP)

The Scripture That Removes Sin and Burden:

1 John 1:9 (AMP) — "If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness."

Psalm 55:22 (AMP) — "Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken."

Psalm 103:12 (AMP) — "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."

1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) — "Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]."

A Prayer of Release:

"Lord Jesus,

I come to You with all that I am—

my sin, my shame, my guilt, and my heavy burdens.

I confess my sins before You.

I do not hide them. I do not excuse them.

I lay them at Your feet.

Take away my sin—

wash me, cleanse me, make me white as snow.

Remove it as far as the east is from the west.

Take away my burden—

the weight I was never meant to carry.

The worry I cannot solve.

The fear I cannot shake.

The load that has worn me down.

I release it all into Your hands.

You are strong enough to carry it.

You are faithful enough to sustain me.

I receive Your forgiveness.

I receive Your rest.

I receive Your peace.

Thank You that I do not have to carry what You have already carried on the cross.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

A Blessing of Relief:

May you feel the weight lift from your shoulders. May you know that your sin is not just hidden—it is removed. May you know that your burden is not just shared—it is carried. May you walk in the freedom of a forgiven soul and the lightness of a surrendered heart. You are not alone. You are not condemned. You are held.

"Lord, take away my sin and burden."

He has heard you.

He has answered you.

You are free. Rest in that.
