I Worship You

I strip away the noise, the rush, the race,

And come before the wonder of Your face.

No other goal,no other thought, no plea—

Just this one act,for all eternity.

I worship You.

Not for the gifts Your gracious hand bestows,

Not for the comfort that Your grace bestows,

But for the glory ofWho You Are—

The First,the Last, the Bright and Morning Star.

I worship You for Holiness—a consuming fire,

The purity that fulfills all desire.

I worship You forPower—that spoke the sun,

And holds the cosmos,spun and never undone.

I worship You forLove—that did not spare

Your only Son,my heavy cross to bear.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,

to receive glory and honor and power,

for you created all things,

and by your will they were created and have their being.”(Revelation 4:11)

Let all I am—my mind, my soul, my might,

Be focused now as one pure,holy light,

A beacon pointing only to Your throne,

To make Your glorious character known.

With every breath, a whispered praise I bring,

My heart its one,eternal anthem sings:

I worship You.

The King of Kings.

The Lord of Lords.

The Great I AM.

The spotless,sacrificial Lamb.
