Lord, Do not forget nor forsake me.

 Amen. This is the cry of the human heart across the ages—a plea rooted not in accusation, but in desperate, loving trust. Here is a prayer that God, who cannot forget you, would make His presence undeniably known.

Do Not Forget Me

My God, do not forget me.

When days are long and light grows dim,

When strength is faint,on a weary limb,

Do not forget me.

My God, do not forsake me.

When others turn,when hopes deceive,

When I can scarcely dare believe,

Do not forsake me.

Yet even as I pray this prayer,

Your ancient promise fills the air:

A whisper through the deepest night,

A covenant of endless light.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid... for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”(Deuteronomy 31:6)

“...God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’”(Hebrews 13:5)

You cannot forget—I am engraved

Upon the palms Your love has saved.

You will not forsake—Your cross has sworn

That I am Yours,though ragged and torn.

So let my heart receive this grace,

And see the mercy in Your face.

You have not forgotten.You will not forsake.

This truth my trembling soul will take.
