Lord, Please forgive me.

 Amen. Here is a prayer for the mercy and forgiveness that God promises to all who come to Him with a repentant heart.

Forgive Me

Lord, please forgive me for my sin.

The wrong I've done outside,within.

The thought,the word, the silent deed,

The selfish pride,the bitter seed.

I bring no excuse, I make no plea,

But throw myself on mercy's sea.

I trust the promise of Your blood,

The cleansing,healing, rising flood.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”(1 John 1:9)

Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

A clean heart create,Your Spirit bestow.

Restore the joy that my failure has cost,

For without Your forgiveness,I am utterly lost.

I receive Your pardon, so full and so free,

Given at the cross,given for me.

Thank you for grace that lifts off the shame,

And calls me by name,still the same.

I am forgiven.

I am clean.

I am Yours.
