Prayer of Repentance and Cleansing.

 🕯️ Amen. 🕯️

We come before the Lord with you, acknowledging His holiness and our need for His cleansing grace. He is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins with a humble and repentant heart.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

— 1 John 1:9

"Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion, blot out my transgressions."

— Psalm 51:1

A Prayer of Repentance and Cleansing:

Merciful Father,

I bow before You in humility, acknowledging my sin and my need for Your forgiveness.

I have fallen short of Your glory — in thought, word, and deed — and I confess my transgressions to You now.

Lord Jesus, by Your precious blood, wash me clean.

Remove every stain of sin, shame, and guilt from my heart.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10).

Help me to turn away from every path of unrighteousness and walk in Your ways.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may live a life that honors You.

Thank You for Your boundless mercy,

Your endless grace,

and Your promise that when I confess,

You are faithful to forgive.

In Jesus’ holy name,
