Amen. Based on our journey through scripture and prayer, here is a poem that seeks to weave together the themes of God's protection, guidance, sacrifice, and eternal promise—a path walked with Him, from pleading to peace.

The Way: A Psalm
I. The Plea
Protect me,I cry from the danger and night,
Cover mewith blood, my Redeemer, my Light.
Forgive my sin, wash me whiter than snow,
You are my good God,this is all that I know.
“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.”(Psalm 61:1)
II. The Provision
You are my Shepherd,I shall not want,
You guide to green pastureswhere fear cannot haunt.
You set this captive freefrom chains and from hell,
Your waythrough the waters where fears rise and swell.
“He leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.”(Psalm 23:2-3)
III. The Presence
You are my Banner,my Mighty Counselor true,
The same yesterday, today,my future in view.
You know the end from the beginning, the whole,
You are my Advocate, making me whole.
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.”(Psalm 23:6)
IV. The Promise
You left Your peace, not as the world gives,
The reason I live, the reason He lives.
You came for abundance, life to the full,
To turn my small faith to an oak, strong and tall.
“I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”(Psalm 23:6)
V. The Path
Sobless my foot from stumbling, bless my sleep,
The promise You keepis a promise I keep.
Seek first the Kingdom, the world counted loss,
For the Son set me freefrom sin, death, and dross.
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy.”(Psalm 16:11)
The Arrival
Blessed the day You adopted me,wrote my name,
In theBook of Life, secured by the Lamb.
My peace I leave with you,now and always,
You are the great I AM,the Ancient of Days.
This isthe way: from the cross to the crown,
In my Father’s house, where love settles down.
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:6)
Amen.
