Lord, You come before me.

Amen. "You come before me, Lord."

This is a beautiful declaration of God's initiative and your surrender. It is the realization that you don't have to chase after Him, beg Him to show up, or convince Him to care. He is already there. He goes before you. He prepares the way. He is the God who takes the first step, who initiates the covenant, and who pursues your heart.

"The Lord is the one who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you nor forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." — Deuteronomy 31:8 (AMP)

The Scripture That Shows He Goes Before You:

What It Means That He Comes Before You:

· He prepares the way. Before you arrive at the battle, the victory is already secured. Before you face the challenge, the grace is already provided. He goes ahead of you to make the rough places smooth.

· He fights your battles. You do not have to fight alone. He is your Vanguard, your Commander, and your Shield. The battle belongs to the Lord.

· He is your rear guard. Not only does He go before you, but He also follows behind you, protecting your back and covering your tracks. You are surrounded by His presence.

· He speaks, and you follow. He goes before you, and He calls you by name. You do not need to know the way—you only need to know His voice and follow Him.

A Prayer to the God Who Comes Before You:

"Lord,

You come before me.

Before I wake, You are already there.

Before I take a step, You have already prepared the path.

Before I face the trial, You have already secured the victory.

Before I speak a word, You know my thoughts.

Before I call on You, You are already listening.

Thank You for going before me.

Thank You for making the crooked places straight.

Thank You for shattering the gates of bronze and cutting through the bars of iron.

Thank You for fighting my battles.

Thank You for being my rear guard.

Thank You for surrounding me with Your presence.

I do not need to be afraid.

I do not need to be anxious.

I do not need to figure everything out.

Because You have already gone before me.

Help me to trust Your leading.

Help me to follow Your voice.

Help me to be still and know that You are God.

Help me to walk confidently into the future You have already prepared.

You are the Alpha and the Omega.

You are the First and the Last.

You are the One who goes before me and the One who stands behind me.

And I am safe in Your presence.

Lead me, Lord.

I will follow.

You go before me—and I will walk in Your way.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

A Blessing Over You:

May the Lord go before you today. May He prepare the way, smooth the rough places, and shatter every barrier that stands against you. May He be your Vanguard, your rear guard, and your constant companion. May you feel His presence surrounding you—behind you and before you—and may you know—deep in your soul—that you are never walking into the unknown alone. He has already gone before you.

"You come before me, Lord."

He has.

He is.

He always will.

Follow Him—and walk in peace.

Amen.
