Bring us to safe ground.

Amen. “Bring us to safe ground” is the cry of a soul that has been tossed by the waves, worn by the battle, and weary from the journey. It is not a prayer for a comfortable life—it is a prayer for a secure footing, a place where you can stand without fear, breathe without anxiety, and rest without dread. And God is faithful to answer.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand." (Psalm 40:2)

"He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber." (Psalm 121:3)

"You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word." (Psalm 119:114)

"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge." (Psalm 18:2)

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you." (Isaiah 43:2)

"He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven." (Psalm 107:29-30)

🛡️ What It Means to Be Brought to Safe Ground

This Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

🙏 A Prayer

Father,

We are tired of the waves.

We are weary of the battle.

We are worn from the journey.

Bring us to safe ground.

Lift us out of the pit.

Set our feet on the Rock.

Steady us when we slip.

Shelter us from the storm.

Lead us to the place where we can stand firm.

Lead us to the place where we can rest.

Lead us to the place where we can breathe.

We do not ask for an easy path—

We ask for a secure footing.

We do not ask for a life without storms—

We ask for a Rock that cannot be moved.

You are our refuge.

You are our fortress.

You are our safe ground.

"He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand." (Psalm 40:2)

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration

I declare today:

God is bringing us to safe ground.

He lifts us out of the pit.

He sets our feet on the Rock.

He steadies us when we slip.

He shelters us in the storm.

We will not be shaken.

We will not be swept away.

We will not be moved.

For our feet are on the Rock,

And the Rock is Christ.

"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer." (Psalm 18:2)

💎 A Final Encouragement

Safe ground is not a place—it is a Person. It is not a destination on a map—it is the Rock beneath your feet. Jesus is your safe ground. He is the One who lifts you out, sets you firm, and holds you steady. When the waves rage and the ground shifts, run to Him. Stand on Him. Rest in Him. He will not let you fall.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1)

Bring us to safe ground, Lord—we trust in You. 🙏🪨💙
