 Amen. “You took away my shame” is one of the most powerful testimonies of the cross. Shame was never meant to be your identity. It was never meant to define you, hold you, or silence you. Jesus went to the cross not only to forgive your sins, but to bear your shame—so that you could walk in freedom, dignity, and honor as a child of God.

Lord Jesus,

I thank You for taking away my shame.

You bore what I could not bear.

I lay down my shame at Your feet.

I release it into Your hands.

I am no longer defined by my past.

I am no longer held by my failures.

I am no longer silenced by my disgrace.

You have given me beauty for ashes.

You have given me praise for despair.

I am radiant because I look to You.

My face is no longer covered with shame.
