Sing Praise to God our Provider.

Sing Praise to God Our Provider

A Reflection on Psalm 34:1, Genesis 22:14, and Philippians 4:19

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

Sing praise to God our Provider—

Not just when the storehouse is full,

Not just when the table is spread,

But in the wilderness, in the waiting,

In the place where only He can lead.

Jehovah Jireh—the Lord will provide,

He sees our need and will not hide.

He is the God who opens His hand,

And satisfies the desire of every living thing.

So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." (Genesis 22:14)

He provides the manna in the morning,

The bread that falls with the dew.

He provides the water from the rock,

The streams that flow in the desert dry.

He provides the ravens that feed the prophet,

He provides the oil that never runs dry.

He provides the ram caught in the thicket,

He provides the way when there seems to be no way.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

Sing praise—for He is faithful,

He has never failed His own.

From generation to generation,

His provision has been known.

He provides not just our needs,

But the desires of our hearts.

He is the God of abundance,

The One who does immeasurably more

Than all we ask or imagine.

So I will sing praise to my Provider—

In the morning, when the day is new,

In the evening, when the day is through.

I will praise Him for His faithfulness,

For His provision, for His grace.

Sing praise to God our Provider,

For He is good, His love endures forever.

He will never leave us nor forsake us,

And He will provide for all our needs.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Amen.
