"Lord, I come to You with my fears."
This is the prayer that invites the peace of God to silence every anxious thought.
The Scripture That Overcomes Fear:
2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) — "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]."
Isaiah 41:10 (AMP) — "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Psalm 34:4 (AMP) — "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears."
1 John 4:18 (AMP) — "There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect love casts out fear."
A Prayer to Overcome Fear:
"Lord Jesus,
I bring my fears before You—
every anxious thought, every restless night, every "what if" that grips my heart.
I receive Your perfect love, which casts out fear.
I receive Your spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
I renounce the spirit of fear—
it is not from You.
I reject worry, dread, and panic—
they have no hold over me.
I choose to trust Your promises over my feelings.
I choose to believe Your presence over my circumstances.
I choose to rest in Your peace over my anxiety.
You are with me.
You are for me.
You will never leave me.
Therefore, I will not fear."
A Declaration of Victory:
"I am not afraid—
for the Lord is my light and my salvation.
I am not afraid—
for He is my refuge and my strength.
I am not afraid—
for He has overcome the world.
Fear has no place in me.
God has not given me a spirit of fear—
but of power, love, and a sound mind.
I am safe in His hands.
I am held by His love.
I am covered by His peace."
The Promise for You:
Fear is not your portion. You have been given authority to overcome it. When fear rises, you can speak to it in the name of Jesus—and it must bow.
Prayer to overcome fear. He hears. He answers. He is your peace. Walk in that today.
