Prayer for freedom from bondage.

"Lord Jesus, I come to You for freedom from every form of bondage."

This is the prayer that breaks chains, shatters yokes, and releases captives. Bondage is not your portion. Freedom is your inheritance in Christ.

The Scripture That Declares Your Freedom:

Galatians 5:1 (AMP) — "It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once bore]."

John 8:36 (AMP) — "So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free."

Isaiah 61:1 (AMP) — "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me to bring good news to the humble and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted, to proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the captives, and freedom to prisoners."

Romans 6:18 (AMP) — "Having been set free from sin, you have become the slaves of righteousness [of conformity to God’s will and purpose]."

2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP) — "The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."

A Prayer for Freedom from Bondage:

"Lord Jesus,

I come before Your throne of grace—

not in my strength, but in Yours.

I acknowledge that I have been held in bondage—

[mention specific areas: fear, addiction, unforgiveness, shame, guilt, generational patterns, spiritual oppression].

I confess my sins and the sins of my ancestors where they have opened doors.

I renounce every lie I have believed.

I break every agreement I have made—knowingly or unknowingly—with the enemy.

I forgive those who have wounded me, just as You have forgiven me.

By the authority of Your name, Jesus,

and by the power of Your blood,

I command every chain to break.

I command every yoke to be destroyed.

I command every stronghold to fall.

I renounce the spirit of fear—for You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

I renounce the spirit of addiction—for I am no longer a slave to sin.

I renounce the spirit of shame—for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

I renounce the spirit of unforgiveness—for I have been freely forgiven.

I renounce the spirit of oppression—for the Son has set me free.

I receive my freedom now.

I am no longer bound.

I am no longer captive.

I am free indeed.

Holy Spirit, fill every empty place.

Let Your peace, Your joy, and Your power fill me.

Let Your truth replace every lie.

Let Your love drive out every fear.

I put on the full armor of God.

I stand firm in the freedom Christ has won.

Thank You, Lord, that I am free.

I will walk in this freedom today—and every day.

In Jesus' mighty name,

Amen."
