"Wash me in the blood."
Yes, Lord—this is the cry of a heart that knows it cannot make itself clean. Only Your blood can wash away sin, guilt, shame, and every stain.
The Scripture That Declares This Cleansing:
Revelation 1:5 (AMP) — "To Him who [always] loves us and has [once for all] released us from our sins by His blood."
1 John 1:7 (AMP) — "The blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin."
Isaiah 1:18 (AMP) — "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."
Hebrews 9:14 (AMP) — "How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the living God?"
A Prayer for Cleansing:
"Lord Jesus,
Wash me in Your blood.
Not just my outward actions—
but my inward thoughts, my hidden wounds, my secret shame.
Let Your blood cleanse my conscience.
Let Your blood remove every stain.
Let Your blood silence every accusation.
Let Your blood restore my peace.
I cannot wash myself.
I cannot hide my sin.
I cannot earn forgiveness.
But You can wash me—
and You will.
Wash me in Your blood, Lord.
Make me whiter than snow.
Make me clean.
Make me whole."
The Promise for You:
The blood of Jesus is not weak—it is powerful. It does not just cover sin—it removes it. It does not just hide shame—it washes it away. When you are washed in the blood, you are not just forgiven—you are made new.
Wash me in the blood. He has. He does. He will. You are clean. Walk in that freedom.
