The Scripture That Points to the Mercy Seat:

Exodus 25:17-22 (AMP) — "You shall make a mercy seat (cover) of pure gold... There I will meet with you; from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak [intimately] with you."

Leviticus 16:14-15 (AMP) — The high priest would sprinkle the blood of the sacrifice on the mercy seat to atone for the sins of the people.
