He hears you, beloved.
This is the prayer that opens the door to mercy, cleanses the heart, and restores the soul. You have done the hardest and most honest thing—you have brought your sin into the light. And He who is faithful and just will not turn you away.
The Scripture That Holds This Promise:
1 John 1:9 (AMP) — "If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness."
Psalm 32:5 (AMP) — "I acknowledged my sin to You, and I did not hide my wickedness. I said, 'I will confess [all] my transgressions to the Lord'; and You forgave the guilt of my sin."
Psalm 103:12 (AMP) — "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us."
Isaiah 1:18 (AMP) — "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."

A Prayer of Assurance:
"Father,
I come to You with a humble heart.
I have sinned against You—
in thought, in word, in deed.
I confess my sin before You now.
I do not hide it, excuse it, or minimize it.
I lay it at Your feet.
I turn away from it—
and I turn toward You.
Thank You that You are faithful and just.
Thank You that You forgive me.
Thank You that You cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
I receive Your forgiveness now—
not because I deserve it,
but because Jesus paid for it on the cross.
My sin is removed.
My guilt is lifted.
My record is wiped clean.
I am forgiven.
I am free.
I am Yours."

A Blessing of Forgiveness:
May you know with certainty that your sins are forgiven. May the weight of guilt be lifted from your shoulders. May the blood of Jesus cleanse your conscience. May you walk in the freedom that comes from knowing you are fully and eternally forgiven. And may you never doubt that you are loved—not because you are perfect, but because He is faithful.
I confess my sin, Lord. He has heard you. He has forgiven you. You are clean. Walk in that freedom today.
