If you ask My Father, in My Name, He will give you.

Here is a poetic reflection and a collection of scriptures on the powerful promise of asking the Father in Jesus' name.

In My Name

Ask the Father in My name,

And you shall not ask in vain.

Not by merit, not by worth,

But by the One who came to earth.

The Son has opened heaven's door,

The veil is torn, we fear no more.

Come boldly to the throne of grace,

And seek your Father's radiant face.

In My name—the name above,

The name that speaks the Father's love.

The name that conquered sin and grave,

The name that has the power to save.

Whatever you ask, I will do,

That the Father may be glorified in the Son.

So lift your voice, your heart, your prayer,

And trust the One who placed you there.

Not by your eloquence or plea,

But by the blood that sets you free.

The Father hears His children's cry,

When in the Son's dear name they draw nigh.

So ask, and you shall receive,

Believe, and never cease to believe.

For every promise, yes and amen,

When you ask the Father in My name.

A Prayer in Jesus' Name

Heavenly Father,

I come before You

not in my own name

or by my own merit,

but in the precious name

of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

He has promised

that whatever I ask in His name,

You will give me.

Not because I deserve it,

but because You love me

and because Your Son has opened the way.

So I lift my requests to You—

for my needs, for my loved ones,

for my struggles, for my hopes.

I ask according to Your will,

trusting that You hear me

and that You are good.

Thank You that I can call You Father.

Thank You for the name of Jesus,

the name that unlocks heaven's door.

In His name I pray,

Amen.
