This vision was given to the prophet Isaiah:

He Is Set Apart There is no one like Him. He is utterly distinct and unique. "Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness?" (Exodus 15:11)
He Is Perfect He is without sin, without flaw, without blemish. His character is absolute perfection. "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he." (Deuteronomy 32:4)
He Is Pure He is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. "This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." (1 John 1:5)
He Is Almighty He is all-powerful, sovereign, and reigns over all creation. "He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision." (Psalm 2:4)
He Is Worthy His holiness demands and deserves our worship. "Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool! Holy is he!" (Psalm 99:5)
✨ The Holiness of God and Our Response
When we see God in His holiness, we see ourselves in our need. Isaiah's response to the vision of God's holiness was one of humility and repentance:
"Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!" (Isaiah 6:5)
