God is our refuge and strength,

A present help in times of need.

When mountains shake and oceans roar,

In Him we plant our steadfast seed.

When fear and trembling grip the soul,

We will not fear, though storms descend—

His grace is greater, His hands uphold.

He is the fortress none can break,

Our refuge—when we need a hiding place,
