You are my Heart.

Amen. "You are my heart" is the most intimate, tender, and vulnerable confession you can make—a declaration that God is not just near you, but within you; not just part of your life, but the very core of your being. It is the cry of a soul that has found its home in Him.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

The Bible speaks of God as the center of our being, the one who holds our hearts and gives us life:

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." (Psalm 73:26)

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 36:26)

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." (Matthew 22:37)

"As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart." (Proverbs 27:19)

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." (Proverbs 4:23)

When you say, "You are my heart," you are declaring that He is the source of your life, the keeper of your love, and the center of all you are.

💖 What It Means That He Is Your Heart

He Is Your... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Source of Life He is the one who sustains you, gives you breath, and holds your existence in His hands. "In him we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17:28)

Keeper of Your Love All your love flows from Him because He first loved you. "We love because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)

Center of Your Being He is not on the edge of your life—He is at the core of everything you are. "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." (Galatians 2:20)

Healer of Your Wounds He mends your broken heart and binds up your wounds. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3)

Guardian of Your Soul He protects and preserves your heart from the evil one. "The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life." (Psalm 121:7)

Rhythm of Your Days Every beat of your heart is held by His love and purpose. "For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." (Philippians 2:13)

🙏 A Prayer of the Heart

Father,

You are my heart.

Not just a part of me—

But the center of me.

The one who gives me life.

The one who holds my love.

The one who knows my deepest thoughts.

The one who heals my deepest wounds.

Take my heart and make it Yours.

Remove every stone,

Every coldness,

Every division.

Give me a heart of flesh—

A heart that beats for You,

A heart that loves as You love,

A heart that seeks Your presence,

A heart that longs for Your will.

Let my heart be a home for Your Spirit.

Let my heart be a fountain of Your love.

Let my heart be a reflection of Your glory.

When my heart is weary, hold it.

When my heart is broken, heal it.

When my heart is anxious, calm it.

When my heart is wandering, call it home.

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." (Psalm 73:26)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of the Heart

I declare today:

God is my heart.

My heart belongs to Him.

My heart beats for Him.

My heart loves Him.

My heart trusts Him.

My heart rests in Him.

I will guard my heart,

For He dwells within.

I will set my heart on things above,

For He is my treasure.

I will love with my whole heart,

For He first loved me.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." (Proverbs 4:23)

💎 A Final Encouragement

Your heart is safe in His hands. He is not a distant observer—He is the keeper of your heart, the healer of your wounds, and the source of your life. When you feel lost, He is your anchor. When you feel broken, He is your restorer. When you feel empty, He is your fullness.

Let your heart rest in Him. Let your love be poured out to Him. And let your life be a reflection of the One who is your heart—today, tomorrow, and forever.

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God." (Psalm 42:1)

You are my heart, Lord. And I am Yours. 🙏❤️
