Jesus is my Mediator.

Amen. "Jesus my mediator" is the anchor of our hope—the One who stands between a holy God and a sinful people, bridging the gap that we could never cross on our own. He is our Advocate, our Intercessor, and our Peace.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

The Bible declares Jesus as the one and only mediator between God and humanity:

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)

"But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises." (Hebrews 8:6)

"For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant." (Hebrews 9:15)

"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." (1 John 2:1)

✝️ What It Means That Jesus Is Our Mediator

As Mediator... He Does... A Scripture to Hold

Bridges the Gap He connects us to God, reconciling us to the Father. "He is the mediator of a new covenant." (Hebrews 9:15)

Represents Us He stands before God on our behalf, presenting our needs and prayers. "He always lives to intercede for them." (Hebrews 7:25)

Advocates for Us When we sin, He defends us before the Father. "We have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." (1 John 2:1)

Pays Our Debt He offers His own blood as the sacrifice for our sins. "He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption." (Hebrews 9:12)

Gives Us Access He opens the way for us to come boldly before the throne of grace. "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence." (Hebrews 4:16)

🙏 A Prayer of Thanks for Our Mediator

Lord Jesus,

I thank You that You are my Mediator.

I thank You that You stand between me and the Father,

Not as a judge,

But as my Advocate,

My Defender,

My Friend.

I could never reach God on my own.

My sin would separate me forever.

But You have bridged the gap.

You have made a way where there was no way.

You speak on my behalf.

You plead my case.

You present Your righteousness in place of my sin.

And the Father welcomes me because of You.

I trust in Your mediation.

I rest in Your advocacy.

I come boldly to the throne of grace

Because You have opened the way.

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)

In Your precious name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Christ's Mediation

I declare today:

Jesus Christ is my Mediator.

He stands between me and God,

Not to condemn me,

But to represent me.

Not to accuse me,

But to advocate for me.

I have access to the Father

Because of the Son.

I have forgiveness of sins

Because of His blood.

I have eternal life

Because of His sacrifice.

I will not fear judgment.

I will not fear condemnation.

I will not fear the accuser.

For Jesus is my Mediator,

And He has secured my salvation.

"He is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance." (Hebrews 9:15)

💎 A Final Encouragement

You do not need to approach God with fear, uncertainty, or shame. You do not need to earn His favor or prove your worth. Jesus has already done it all. He is your Mediator—the One who speaks for you, stands for you, and secures you for eternity.

When you pray, He presents your words to the Father.

When you fail, He presents His righteousness on your behalf.

When you come near, He welcomes you and says, "Come boldly. The way is open."

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess." (Hebrews 4:14)

Jesus is your Mediator. And He will never stop interceding for you. 🙏🕊️
