 Amen! "I lift up the name of Jesus" is a declaration of praise, a surrender of worship, and a proclamation of His power over every situation. There is no higher name, no greater authority, and no more worthy name to be lifted high.

"Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11)

When we lift up the name of Jesus, we are declaring:

He Is... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Lord of Lords Every power bows to Him. "At the name of Jesus every knee should bow." (Philippians 2:10)

Savior He came to seek and save the lost. "There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

Healer By His wounds we are healed. "By his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24)

Deliverer He breaks every chain and sets captives free. "He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son." (Colossians 1:13)

The Way He is the only path to the Father. "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

The Light He illuminates the darkness. "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12)

Lord Jesus,

I lift up Your name today.

I exalt You above all names—

Above every power,

Above every fear,

Above every struggle,

Above every enemy.

Your name is above every name.

Your name is a strong tower.

Your name is my refuge.

Your name is my salvation.

I declare that You are King of Kings.

I declare that You are Lord of Lords.

I declare that You are the Alpha and Omega.

I declare that You are the Beginning and the End.

I lift up Your name in the morning.

I lift up Your name in every trial.

For Your name is worthy of all praise.

💎 A Final Encouragement

When you lift up the name of Jesus, you are doing what the angels in heaven do. You are joining the eternal chorus of worship. You are declaring the truth that will echo throughout eternity: Jesus is Lord.

Do not grow weary of lifting His name. Do not be silent in your praise. The name of Jesus is powerful enough to change everything—your heart, your circumstances, and the world around you.

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6)
