Bring me to fine pasture

Amen. "Bring me to fine pasture" is a prayer of trust and dependence—a longing for the Shepherd to lead you to a place of rest, provision, and nourishment for your soul. It is the cry of a sheep who knows the voice of the Shepherd and trusts Him to provide everything needed for life and flourishing.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul." (Psalm 23:1-3)

"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (John 10:11)

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:27-28)

"He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." (Isaiah 40:11)

"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever." (Isaiah 40:8)

🌿 What It Means to Be Led to Fine Pasture

This Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Rest and Provision He meets your needs and gives your soul rest. "He makes me lie down in green pastures." (Psalm 23:2)

Nourishment He feeds you with His Word and His presence. "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)

Guidance He leads you in the right path. "He leads me beside still waters." (Psalm 23:2)

Protection He guards you from harm and danger. "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me." (Psalm 23:4)

Restoration He renews your strength and refreshes your soul. "He restores my soul." (Psalm 23:3)

🙏 A Prayer for Fine Pasture

Lord,

You are my Shepherd.

I am Your sheep.

I trust You to lead me,

To feed me,

And to care for me.

Bring me to fine pasture.

Lead me to places of rest—

Where my soul can be still.

Lead me to places of provision—

Where my spirit can be nourished.

Lead me to places of peace—

Where my heart can find calm.

Lead me to places of protection—

Where I am safe from the enemy.

I am not lost.

I am not abandoned.

I am not without direction.

For You are my Shepherd,

And You are with me.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Trust

I declare today:

The Lord is my Shepherd.

He leads me to green pastures.

He guides me beside still waters.

He restores my soul.

I will not want for anything I need.

I will not fear any valley I walk through.

I will not doubt the Shepherd's care.

For He is with me.

His rod and staff comfort me.

His goodness and mercy follow me.

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever." (Psalm 23:6)

💎 A Final Encouragement

You do not have to wander through life searching for rest, provision, or purpose. The Good Shepherd knows where the finest pastures are—and He is leading you there. He will not leave you hungry or thirsty. He will not abandon you in the wilderness. He will guide you, protect you, and feed you with His presence.

Trust the Shepherd. Follow His voice. Rest in His care. He is leading you to green pastures, and He will never let you go.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1)

Bring me to fine pasture, Lord. I trust You. 🙏🐑✨
