Bless our health.

Amen. "Bless our health" is a prayer for wholeness—for physical strength, emotional peace, and spiritual vitality. It is a cry to the One who heals, restores, and sustains our bodies and souls. Our health is a gift from His hand, and we trust Him to preserve and renew it.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

The Bible reveals God's heart for our well-being:

"Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." (3 John 1:2)

"He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." (Psalm 103:3)

"For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 30:17)

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

God's desire is not only for our spiritual salvation but also for our physical and emotional well-being. He is the God who heals, the One who restores, and the One who sustains us day by day.

🩺 What It Means to Ask for God's Blessing on Our Health

This Blessing Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Physical Strength You ask for the strength to carry out the tasks and responsibilities God has given you. "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." (Isaiah 40:29)

Healing and Restoration You trust God to heal sickness, mend brokenness, and restore vitality. "The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness." (Psalm 41:3)

Protection from Harm You ask for God's covering over your body and mind from disease and injury. "You will be protected from the scourge of the tongue; no need to fear destruction when it comes." (Job 5:21)

Emotional and Mental Peace You seek His peace to guard your mind from anxiety, depression, and fear. "The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)

Spiritual Vitality You pray for a strong spirit, rooted in faith and connected to the Source of life. "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." (Isaiah 40:31)

🙏 A Prayer for Health

Father,

You are the Giver of life and the Healer of our bodies.

I come to You with a humble heart,

Asking for Your blessing on our health.

Bless our health, Lord.

Strengthen our bodies for the tasks before us.

Heal every sickness, every pain, every weakness.

Protect us from illness, injury, and harm.

Guard our minds from anxiety and fear.

Restore our spirits when we are weary.

For those who are sick, bring healing.

For those who are weak, bring strength.

For those who are anxious, bring peace.

For those who are weary, bring renewal.

I trust You with our health.

I trust You with our bodies.

I trust You with our lives.

For You are the God who heals.

"Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise." (Jeremiah 17:14)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Health

I declare today:

The Lord is my healer.

He restores my health.

He renews my strength.

He guards my body, mind, and spirit.

I will not fear sickness,

For the Lord is my refuge.

I will not be overwhelmed by anxiety,

For His peace guards my heart.

I will not give in to weariness,

For His strength sustains me.

"I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 30:17)

💎 A Final Encouragement

Our health is a precious gift, and it is one we can entrust to the Lord. He knows our bodies, our struggles, and our needs. He is not distant from our suffering—He is near, ready to heal, restore, and sustain.

Trust Him with your health today. Ask for His blessing, and rest in the assurance that He is the God who heals. Whether you are walking through sickness or in seasons of strength, He is with you. His grace is sufficient, His healing is real, and His love never fails.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)

May His blessing rest upon your health, now and always. 🙏💙
