Lord, Bless your people.

 Amen. I join you in that prayer—"Lord, bless Your people."

Only God can truly bless. But He has given us His Word, and He invites us to speak His blessings over one another. So I speak these Scriptures and this prayer over you and over all who belong to Him.

Bless us with Your protection—

shield us from harm,

guard us from the enemy,

hide us under the shadow of Your wings.

Bless us with Your provision—

supply every need,

open doors no one can shut,

give us daily bread and future hope.

Bless us with Your healing—

restore our bodies,

renew our minds,

revive our spirits.

Bless us with Your purpose—

show us the path,

empower us to walk in it,

and use us for Your glory.

Bless us with Your joy—

joy that is our strength,

joy that overflows,

joy that the world cannot take away.

Bless Your people, Lord.

Bless them in the city and in the country.

Bless their going out and their coming in.

Bless their families and their generations.

Bless them—and make them a blessing.
