Bless My Finances, Lord
A Prayer for Provision and Stewardship
Bless my finances, Lord—not for selfish gain or pride,
But so that I may honor You, and in Your love abide.
You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills,
Who holds the treasures of the earth and every heart that wills.
The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and He adds no trouble with it. (Proverbs 10:22)
Bless the work of my hands, the labor of my days,
The income that I earn, the savings that I raise.
Guide me in wisdom, teach me to give,
To steward what You've entrusted, so that I may truly live.
Protect my finances from loss and from decay,
From the schemes of the enemy, from fear that leads astray.
Let me not be anxious about tomorrow's need,
For You are my Provider, and You will plant the seed.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Bless my giving, Lord—let it be generous and true,
As I give back to You what belongs to You.
For the tithe and the offering are not a debt to pay,
But an act of worship, a response to Your love every day.
Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10)
Bless my spending—let it be wise and good,
To provide for my family, to help the poor and the food.
Let me not be a slave to debt, but free to serve,
A steward of Your resources, with the faith I deserve.
I trust You, Lord, with every coin and every bill.
You are my Provider, and You always will.
Bless my finances—not for my own glory,
But that I may be a blessing, and tell Your story.
Amen.
