"Bless me with an able body."
This is a prayer for strength, health, and the physical capacity to serve, to worship, and to walk in the purpose He has set before you.
The Scripture That Speaks Over You:
3 John 1:2: "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul."
Psalm 103:2-3: "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases."
Isaiah 40:29: "He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you...? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
A Prayer for an Able Body:
"Lord,
You formed my body. You knit me together in my mother's womb.
Every bone, every muscle, every part of me is known to You.
I ask You to bless my body with strength and health.
Make it able—
able to rise, able to work, able to serve,
able to worship, able to rest, able to love.
Where there is weakness, strengthen me.
Where there is fatigue, renew me.
Where there is sickness, heal me.
Where there is limitation, carry me.
Let this body be a vessel for Your glory—
strong enough to do Your will,
humble enough to depend on Your grace,
and faithful enough to finish the race You have set before me.
Bless me with an able body, Lord.
I give it back to You.
In Jesus' name,
Amen."
The Promise for You:
Your body is not just flesh and bone—it is the temple of the Holy Spirit, a dwelling place for the living God. He cares for it. He heals it. He uses it for His glory.
Bless me with an able body. He hears. He strengthens. He sustains. You are not alone in your body—He is with you in it.
