Prayers to overcome affliction.

 Amen. I stand with you in this prayer—asking the Lord to strengthen you, sustain you, and deliver you from every affliction.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." — Psalm 34:19 (AMP)

The Scripture That Overcomes Affliction:

Psalm 34:17 (AMP) — "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles."

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (AMP) — "We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed; perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted [to stand alone]; struck down, but never destroyed."

Isaiah 43:2 (AMP) — "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you."

Psalm 71:20-21 (AMP) — "You who have shown me many troubles and distresses will revive me again, and will bring me up again from the depths of the earth. May You increase my greatness and turn to comfort me."

A Prayer to Overcome Affliction:

"Lord Jesus,

You see my affliction.

You know my pain.

You understand my struggle.

You are not distant from it—You are near.

You were a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

You know what it is to suffer.

You know what it is to be pressed on every side.

And You are with me now.

I ask You to overcome this affliction in my life.

Strengthen me when I am weak.

Sustain me when I am weary.

Comfort me when I am broken.

Deliver me when I am trapped.

Heal me when I am wounded.

Restore me when I am depleted.

If this affliction is from the enemy—

I rebuke it in Your name.

If this affliction is a trial to refine me—

give me grace to endure it.

If this affliction is a consequence of my choices—

forgive me and lead me out.

If this affliction is a mystery I cannot understand—

give me peace to trust You in it.

I will not be crushed.

I will not be driven to despair.

I will not be destroyed.

Because You are with me.

And You are greater than my affliction.

You have promised to deliver me out of them all.

I stand on that promise.

I receive that deliverance.

I declare that this affliction will not have the final word.

You are my healer.

You are my deliverer.

You are my strength.

You are my hope.

I overcome this affliction—

not in my strength, but in Yours.
