What It Means to Soar Like an Eagle:

· To rise above the storm. Eagles don't avoid storms—they use the wind currents to lift them above the clouds. You are not exempt from trials, but you rise above their chaos and see from heaven's perspective.

· To have renewed strength. Eagles molt and are renewed. You don't soar on yesterday's strength. Each day, He gives fresh grace, fresh mercy, fresh power.

· To fix your eyes on the sun. Eagles are said to gaze into the sun. You fix your eyes on the Son, and He becomes your focal point, your direction, your source.

· To dwell in high places. Eagles nest on rocky crags, inaccessible to predators. You dwell in the secret place of the Most High, safe in the cleft of the Rock.

· To be carried by the wind of the Spirit. Eagles don't flap frantically—they spread their wings and catch the thermal currents. You don't strive—you rest in His Spirit and are carried.

You are the One who calms the storm.

You are the One who speaks peace to the raging sea.

You are the One who commands the waves to be still.

Speak to the turbulence in my life—

the chaos in my mind,

the storm in my heart,

the waves that crash over my soul.

Say to my fear: 'Peace, be still.'

Say to my anxiety: 'Be calm.'

Say to my circumstances: 'Be still.'

Let Your voice be louder than the wind.

Let Your presence be stronger than the waves.

Let Your peace be deeper than the ocean.

I am in the boat with You.

And if You are in the boat,

the boat will not sink.

Calm the sea, Lord.
