Reveal to Us Your Blessings
Reveal to us Your blessings, Lord—
Not just the ones that shimmer on the surface of the day,
But the hidden,deeper glories woven in a secret way.
Open now the eyes of faith to truly see and know
The wealth You have already poured where living waters flow.
We ask to see the blessing in the manna, plain and small,
The daily bread of presence that outlasts and feeds through all.
Reveal the blessing in the cloud that slows our hurried pace,
And in the fiery pillar that illuminates Your face.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34:8)
Uncover now the blessing veiled within the trial's heat,
The faith refined like gold,the character made complete.
Show us the open doors within the walls that seem so high,
The streams within the desert,the wings on which we fly.
For You have blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ above.
You have blessed us with the everlasting treasure of Your love.
You have blessed us with an anchor,with a future, and a call.
Father, pull the curtain back, and let us see it all.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17)
So let our lives become a living lens, adjusted to Your sight,
To perceive the constant goodness turning darkness into light.
And in the seeing,let our hearts erupt in grateful praise,
For the myriad of blessings that surround us all our days.
Reveal Your blessings, Lord.
We are looking. We are seeking. We are ready to receive.
In the name of Jesus, the greatest blessing, we believe.
