Glory to the Lamb.

 Glory to the Lamb

All glory to the Lamb upon the throne!

The spotless sacrifice for sin,for us, alone.

The One who bore the wounds that heal, who wore the crown of thorn,

Through whom eternal mercy’s gate was opened, and reborn.

Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! (Revelation 5:12)

Glory for the silence of the sheep before the shearer’s hand.

Glory for the anguishthat fulfilled the law’s demand.

Glory for the crimson flowfrom deep, eternal veins,

That broke the curse of Adam and erased our guilty stains.

Now crowned in matchless splendor, holding history’s scroll,

Worthy is the Lamb to make the wounded spirit whole!

To every tribe and nation,His grace He does extend—

The Lamb who was slain is now the reigning, sovereign Friend.

So let creation’s chorus swell in one unending ring,

Let every living creature the ceaseless anthem bring.

Fall down before Him,cast your crowns before His face,

And magnify the wonder of His all-sufficient grace.

For He has conquered! Hell is vanquished, death is overthrown!

His victory is ours, and His renown alone.

With angels, elders, martyrs, and the saved from every shore,

We lift one cry,by love compelled, forevermore:

“Glory! Glory! Glory to the Lamb who gives us rest!

To the King of every kingdom—all our worship, first and best!”

My soul joins in the chorus: Glory to the Lamb!

My Savior and my Sovereign, the great I AM.

From this breath to eternity, let this be my story’s theme:

All glory, praise, and honor to the Lamb who redeemed.

Amen. Hallelujah.
