Stuck in thorns of my own making.  

Yet You counted my absence  

As heaven’s emergency."*

*"Not ‘lamb #100’ in some flock log,  

But my name engraved—  

Etched by nail wounds  

Into hands that hold galaxies  

Yet stoop to mend broken hooves."*

Just Your heartbeat against my fleece,

Not just a meal, but a *celebration*!  

The hundredth lamb, once lost,  

Now leans against the Shepherd’s thigh

*"No more straying in shadowlands—  

Your voice now my compass,  

Your rod my comfort.  

Not one of Your hundred  

Will ever be lost again."*
