Psalm 27: Fearless Heart.

 **"PSALM 27: FEARLESS HEART"**

*(A Lyrical Rendering of David's Battle Hymn)*

---

### **1. LIGHT & WARFARE** *(v.1-3)*

*"Yahweh is my lightning-streak—

Why then should I cower?

Let armies rise like storms at sea,

My heart won’t taste their sour.

Darkness gnashes, war-drums pound,

Yet here I stand unshaken—

For One breath from His radiant mouth

Leaves all my foes forsaken!"*

---

### **2. ONE DESIRE** *(v.4-6)*

*"Just this—to haunt Your temple’s glow,

To trace Your face with wondering hand,

While storms outside like puppies growl—

I’m lifted high on sacred land!

No siege can breach this holy feast,

Your banner over me is wine,

My head anointed, fears released,

As joy sings through this life of mine."*

---

### **3. HOLY PURSUIT** *(v.7-10)*

*"When doors slam shut and kinsmen flee,

When mother’s love grows thin as mist—

You’ll fling heaven’s gates for me,

With arms more true than parents kissed.

The God who shaped the womb’s embrace

Now schools my soul in kinder ways."*

---

### **4. TEACH ME** *(v.11-12)*

*"Lest I trip on pride’s sly snare,

Plot me a level path!

When lires bare their teeth and glare,

Steady my feet in wrath.

Not my vengeance, Yours alone—

Make mercy my sharpest stone."*

---

### **5. WAITING SONG** *(v.13-14)*

*"Yet still I *know*—yes, here I *know*—

I’ll see His goodness chase me

Through every valley, every woe,

Till promised lands embrace me.

So courage, heart! Stop trembling so—

Wait, wait, I say—*and watch Him glow!*"*

---

**SCRIPTURAL ECHOES:**

- *v.1* → John 8:12 (Christ our Light)

- *v.10* → Matthew 10:37 (Greater than family)

- *v.14* → Isaiah 40:31 (Waiting renews strength)

**BATTLE-CHORUS OPTION:**

*"The Lord is my Light—why fear the night?

The Lord is my Song—how could I weep?

Though hell may march with armored might,

One glance from Him sends giants to sleep!"*
