Guide to Land of Milk and Honey

Guide Me to the Land of Milk and Honey

A Reflection on Exodus 3:8, Deuteronomy 8:7-9, and Joshua 1:9

Guide me to the land of milk and honey—the place of Your promise and Your rest,

Where abundance flows like rivers and Your blessing is manifest.

Not just a land of earthly plenty, but a place of spiritual peace,

Where fear and striving cease.

“I have come down to deliver them... and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” (Exodus 3:8)

Milk—the nourishment of Your Word, the sustenance of Your grace,

That feeds my soul and strengthens me to run the race.

Honey—the sweetness of Your presence, the joy of knowing You,

The delight that fills my spirit and makes my heart anew.

Guide me through the wilderness, through the desert of my doubt,

Where the path is not yet clear and I cannot see the route.

Let Your pillar of cloud go before me in the day,

And Your pillar of fire by night to light my way.

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills. (Deuteronomy 8:7)

Guide me to the land of milk and honey—not by my own strength,

But by Your mighty hand, by Your faithful length.

I will not fear the giants, I will not fear the wall,

For You have promised to go before me and to break down every stall.

You are the God who leads, who guides, who provides,

Who opens doors and makes a way where nothing else abides.

So I trust You with my journey, with my steps, with my days,

And I will follow You through all my wandering ways.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

Guide me to the land of milk and honey—not just a place, but a Person,

For in Christ, all the promises are fulfilled, all the blessings are given.

He is the Bread of Life, the Living Water, the Sweetness of my soul,

The One who leads me to the Father and makes my spirit whole.

So I walk by faith, not by sight, into the promised land,

Held by the hand of the Good Shepherd, guided by His command.

Guide me to the land of milk and honey—this is my prayer,

Till I reach the eternal shore and meet You there.

Amen.

God will show a way.

 God Will Show a Way

A Reflection on Isaiah 43:16-19

God will show a way—when the path is lost and dark,

When the road ahead is hidden, and hope is just a spark.

When the mountains loom before you, when the seas refuse to part,

He is the God who makes a way, who speaks light into the dark.

Thus says the Lord, who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters. (Isaiah 43:16)

He will show a way through the wilderness of doubt,

Through the desert of despair, when you cannot find a route.

He will make a stream in the wasteland, a river in the dry,

And from the barren ground, His blessing will arise.

When there seems to be no door, no opening, no key,

He will open what no man can shut, and set your spirit free.

He is not bound by human limits, not by time or circumstance.

His ways are higher, His plans advance.

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19)

God will show a way—not always the way you planned,

But the way that leads to the promised land.

Sometimes through the fire, sometimes through the flood,

But always covered by His blood.

He will show a way when you are weak and worn,

When you feel abandoned and forlorn.

He will lift you up on eagles' wings,

And teach your heart to trust and sing.

I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. (Isaiah 45:2)

So trust in the God who makes a way,

When every voice says, "You cannot stay."

He is the Way, the Truth, the Life,

The calm in the storm, the peace in the strife.

God will show a way. He always does.

He is faithful, He is true, He is love.

So walk by faith, not by sight,

And in His way, you will find light.

Amen.

Bless us with wisdom.

 Bless Us with Wisdom

A Reflection on Proverbs 2:6, James 1:5, and Proverbs 3:13

Bless us with wisdom, Lord—not the wisdom of the world,

But the wisdom that comes from above, in Your truth unfurled.

The wisdom that fears Your holy name,

That leads us to righteousness, not to shame.

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6)

Wisdom—not just knowledge or a clever mind,

But the ability to see Your hand, Your heart, Your divine design.

It is the fear of the Lord, the beginning of all truth,

The compass that guides us through the paths of our youth.

Bless us with wisdom—in our words and in our ways,

In our decisions, in our prayers, in all our days.

Let us not lean on our own understanding,

But trust in Your leading, ever-standing.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5)

Wisdom—to discern between good and evil,

To walk in the light and avoid the devil.

To speak with grace, to act with love,

To be humble before the God above.

Bless us with wisdom—to lead our families well,

To be a light in the darkness, to break every spell

Of confusion and doubt, of fear and despair,

And to know that Your wisdom is always there.

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding. (Proverbs 3:13)

So we ask, O Lord, for this precious gift,

That our spirits and souls Your wisdom may lift.

Bless us with wisdom—for today and all our days,

And let our lives be filled with Your wisdom and praise.

Amen.

Thank you for guiding me.

 Thank You for Guiding Me

A Reflection on Psalm 32:8, Psalm 48:14, and Isaiah 58:11

Thank You for guiding me—through the valleys and the peaks,

Through the silence and the speaking, through the strong and through the weak.

You have led me with Your eye, You have held me by Your hand,

You have brought me to a place where I can finally stand.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8)

Thank You for guiding me—when the path was dark and long,

When I could not hear the morning song.

You were the lamp unto my feet,

The light that made my way complete.

Thank You for guiding me—through every twist and turn,

Through every lesson I had to learn.

When I stumbled, You caught my fall,

When I wandered, You heard my call.

For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end. (Psalm 48:14)

Thank You for guiding me—not with a heavy hand,

But with a gentle, loving plan.

You went before me, You walked beside,

You were my shelter, my strength, my guide.

Thank You for guiding me—in the big and in the small,

Through every rise and every fall.

You ordered my steps, You directed my way,

And gave me hope for each new day.

The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. (Isaiah 58:11)

Thank You for guiding me—today and all my days.

You are the One who deserves all praise.

For every step, for every turn,

For every lesson I had to learn.

I lift my hands in gratitude, I bow my heart in praise.

Thank You for guiding me through all my wandering ways.

Amen.

Great to be praise.

 Great to Be Praised

A Reflection on Psalm 48:1, Psalm 145:3, and Revelation 4:11

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised—

Not with reluctant, hesitant words,

But with the full force of every heart,

With the highest song of every bird.

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, His holy mountain. (Psalm 48:1)

Great in power—You spoke the worlds,

And by Your hand, the stars were hurled.

Great in mercy—You forgive,

And in Your love, we learn to live.

Great in holiness—a flame so pure,

That sin cannot endure.

Great in faithfulness—You never fail,

Through every storm, through every gale.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. (Psalm 145:3)

To be praised—not with empty words,

But with lives laid down, with spirits stirred.

With lifted hands and grateful hearts,

With every breath, with every part.

Praise Him in the morning, when the sun begins to rise.

Praise Him in the evening, when the moon adorns the skies.

Praise Him in the storm, when the rain is pouring down.

Praise Him at the altar, where our hearts lay down their crown.

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things.” (Revelation 4:11)

Great to be praised—this is our call,

The reason we live, the reason for all.

From generation to generation,

We echo the song of His great salvation.

So we lift our voices, we lift our hands,

We lift our lives to the One who stands

Above all names, above all kings,

To the One who is worthy of all our praise.

Great to be praised—forever and ever.

His name be exalted, His glory be known.

Great to be praised—let the whole earth sing,

For the Lord our God is the everlasting King.

Amen.

Thank you, Jesus.

 Thank You, Jesus

A Simple Prayer of Gratitude

Thank You, Jesus—for the breath I didn't earn,

For the mercy that returns with every morning's burn.

For the cross You carried, for the grave You broke,

For every silent prayer You answered before I spoke.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. (Psalm 118:1)

Thank You for the valleys where I learned to trust,

For the broken roads that crumbled my self-made dust.

For the wounds that taught me healing, for the tears that washed me clean,

For the moments I felt nothing—yet You remained unseen.

Thank You for the promise that You will never leave,

For the hope that holds me when I struggle to believe.

For the Friend who sticks closer than a brother or a son,

For the victory already fought, already won.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)

Thank You, Jesus—not just for what You give,

But for who You are: the reason that I live.

My Savior, my Shepherd, my Lord, my King—

Thank You, Jesus, for everything.

Amen.

We love you Lord, forever and ever.

We Love You Forever and Ever

A Reflection on Psalm 136:1-3, 1 John 4:19, and Revelation 4:11

We love You forever and ever—not for what You give,

But for the life You died for us to live.

Your love has captured every heart,

And from Your love we will not depart.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. (Psalm 136:1)

We love You—because You first loved us,

When we were lost, when we were dust.

You called us from the dark into Your light,

You gave us hope, You gave us sight.

We love You—in the valley and the peak,

In the silence and the suffering, in the victory and the weak.

Through every season, every test,

You are the One who gives us rest.

We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

We love You forever—not for a season or a span,

But for all eternity, as the great I AM.

From everlasting to everlasting,

Our love for You will be steadfast and lasting.

We love You—with all our heart, all our soul,

With all our strength, You make us whole.

We lift our voices, we raise our hands,

We bow our hearts to Your commands.

Forever and ever—let the angels sing,

Let the heavens ring, let all creation bring

Their praise to the One who is worthy of all,

Who lifts the fallen and answers our call.

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things.” (Revelation 4:11)

We love You forever and ever—this is our vow,

Our song, our prayer, our "here and now."

Not by our strength, but by Your grace,

We will love You in every time and place.

Amen.

Great are you, Lord.

 Great Are You, Lord

A Reflection on Psalm 145:3, Psalm 86:10, and Revelation 15:3-4

Great are You, Lord—not by measure, not by degree,

But by the boundless, endless depth of Your majesty.

The heavens declare Your glory, the earth proclaims Your name,

And all creation testifies to Your eternal flame.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. (Psalm 145:3)

Great in power—You spoke the worlds to birth,

You hold the universe in Your hands, You rule the heavens and the earth.

The winds obey Your whisper, the seas bow to Your will,

The mountains melt like wax before the One who is still.

Great in mercy—You do not treat us as our sins deserve,

You lift the fallen, heal the broken, and help us to preserve.

Your compassions never fail, Your love is ever true,

You are the God who makes all things new.

For You are great and do marvelous deeds; You alone are God. (Psalm 86:10)

Great in love—a love that reaches to the skies,

A love that never fails, that never dies.

You sent Your Son to bear our shame,

To break the curse, to call us by name.

Great in faithfulness—through every generation,

Your promises endure, Your truth is our foundation.

You never leave, You never fail,

Your faithfulness will forever prevail.

“Great and marvelous are Your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, King of the nations.” (Revelation 15:3)

Great are You, Lord—in the quiet and the storm,

In the valley and the mountain, in the cold and in the warm.

You are the same yesterday, today, and forever,

The One who holds us and will leave us never.

So I join the chorus of the saints and angels above,

Singing, “Great are You, Lord!” with a heart full of love.

Great are You, Lord—my song, my prayer, my plea,

Forever and always, You are all I need.

Amen.

We pour all our praise.

 We Pour All Our Praise

A Reflection on Psalm 34:1, Romans 12:1, and Hebrews 13:15

We pour all our praise—not a trickle, not a taste,

But a flood of holy worship, a holy, urgent haste.

From the depths of grateful hearts, from spirits set free,

We pour our praise upon You, for all the world to see.

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

We pour our praise—like fragrant oil,

Like a sweet and holy toil.

Not withheld, not measured out,

But poured without a shadow of doubt.

We pour our praise in the morning, when the sun begins to rise,

We pour our praise in the evening, when the moon adorns the skies.

We pour our praise in the storm, when the rain is pouring down,

We pour our praise at the altar, where our hearts lay down their crown.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name. (Hebrews 13:15)

We pour our praise—not for what we get,

But for the love that will not let us forget.

Not for the blessings that we hold,

But for the story that is told

Of a God who saves, who heals, who restores,

Who opens heaven's doors.

We pour our praise—with our hands lifted high,

With our voices raised to the sky.

With our lives laid down as a living sacrifice,

Holy and pleasing, a fragrant spice.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

We pour our praise—over our families, our homes,

Over the broken, the weary, the ones who roam.

Let the praise of God cover the earth,

Let it declare our Savior's worth.

So we pour all our praise—today, tomorrow, always.

For You alone are worthy of all our days.

We pour all our praise—let it rise like incense sweet,

A fragrant offering, a worship complete.

Amen.

All the Earth Rejoice.

 All the Earth Rejoice

A Reflection on Psalm 96:11-13, Psalm 98:7-9, and Romans 15:11

All the earth rejoice—let every creature sing,

Let the hills and valleys echo, let the heavens ring.

The Lord is reigning, the Lord is King,

Let all creation shout and bring

Their praise to the One who made the skies,

The One who hears His people's cries.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. (Psalm 96:11)

Rejoice—not a whisper, not a sigh,

But a roar of praise that reaches high.

The mountains clap their hands, the trees sing for joy,

The fields exult, the oceans employ

Their waves to declare His glorious name,

The Lord of hosts, the great I AM.

Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy. (Psalm 98:8)

Let the earth rejoice—for the Lord has come to save,

He has conquered sin and conquered the grave.

No more fear, no more dread,

For the King of kings has raised the dead.

The enemy is silenced, the victory is won,

The work of salvation is forever done.

All creation waits with eager expectation,

For the revealing of the sons of God, their liberation.

The groaning earth will be set free,

And all will bow the knee

To Jesus, the Lion and the Lamb,

The Alpha, the Omega, the great I AM.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. (Romans 8:19)

So rejoice, O earth! Let the joyful sound

Spread to every nation, to every ground.

From the rising of the sun to its setting,

Let the praise of God be never forgetting.

All the earth rejoice—for the Lord is good,

His love endures forever, as it always should.

And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol Him.” (Romans 15:11)

Amen. Hallelujah!

Restore my heart.

 Restore My Heart

A Reflection on Psalm 51:10, Ezekiel 36:26, and Jeremiah 24:7

Restore my heart, O Lord—the wellspring of my life,

The source of every thought, the seat of joy and strife.

Let it be pure, let it be true,

Let it beat in rhythm with You.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10)

Restore my heart—melt the cold, the stubborn stone,

Replace it with a heart of flesh, a heart that is Your own.

Let love flow freely, let anger cease,

Let Your peace be my inward release.

I have wandered, I have strayed,

I have built walls where love should stay.

But You, O Lord, are faithful still,

You bend to heal, You bend to fill.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)

Restore the joy of my salvation,

The hope that springs from Your foundation.

Let gratitude replace complaint,

Let faith arise where doubt has faint.

Restore my heart—with kindness, with compassion, with grace,

With the courage to forgive, with the wisdom to embrace.

Let it be generous, let it be kind,

Let it be a reflection of Your heart and mind.

I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord. (Jeremiah 24:7)

Protect my heart from bitterness, from pride, from fear,

From the lies that whisper, "You are not welcome here."

Let Your love be its shield, Your truth be its guide,

And let my heart find its rest in Your side.

So I entrust my heart to You, the One who knows it best.

Heal its wounds, calm its fears, and give it perfect rest.

Restore my heart, O Lord—make it more like Yours,

For it is my heart that You forever adore.

Amen.

Keep us in Prayer.

 Keep Us in Prayer

A Reflection on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Ephesians 6:18, and Colossians 4:2

Keep us in prayer, Lord—not just when we are weak,

But in the daily rhythms, in the moments when we seek

Your face, Your will, Your way, Your grace,

Let prayer be the constant in every time and place.

Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Keep us in prayer—when we wake and when we sleep,

When the path is smooth and when the climb is steep.

Let prayer be our anchor, our compass, our song,

The place where we find that we truly belong.

Keep us in prayer—over our families, our friends,

Our homes, our work, our beginnings, our ends.

Let the Spirit intercede with groans too deep for words,

And let our prayers be heard, O Lord.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. (Ephesians 6:18)

Keep us in prayer—not just for our own needs,

But for the church, the world, the seeds

That You have planted, the harvest yet to come.

Let our prayers rise like incense, a sweet and holy sum.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Let not our prayers grow weary or our spirits sink.

Keep us, Lord, in the place of prayer,

And let us know that You are there.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. (Colossians 4:2)

Keep us in prayer—protect us from the enemy's schemes,

Guard our hearts, our minds, our dreams.

Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts,

And let us never depart from prayer.

So we lift our voices, we lift our hands,

We lift our lives to You in prayer.

Keep us in prayer, Lord—this is our plea,

Now and for all eternity.

Amen.

You give life.

 You Give Life

A Reflection on John 10:10, John 14:6, and Romans 8:2

You give life—not just breath, not just a pulse,

But life abundant, life that overflows and overwhelms.

Life that begins the moment we believe,

And stretches on through all eternity.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

You give life—not just existence, but purpose,

Not just survival, but strength to endure this.

Life that conquers death, life that overcomes,

Life that sings when the darkness comes.

You give life—to the weary and worn,

To the broken and battered, to those who mourn.

You breathe hope into dry bones,

You turn our groans into holy tones.

“I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)

You give life—through the Spirit who dwells within,

Who breaks the chains of sin and sets us free from sin.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus

Has set me free from the law of sin and death that once seized us.

You give life—not just for today,

But for all eternity, in every way.

You are the resurrection, You are the life,

The calm in the storm, the peace in the strife.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)

You give life—in the morning when I wake,

In the evening when I rest, for Your love's sake.

You give life to my spirit, my soul, and my frame,

And I will praise You forever, in Jesus' name.

You give life. Thank You, Lord.

Life that is rich, life that is full,

Life that is anchored in Your love, unbreakable.

Amen.

You Give hope.

 You Give Hope

A Reflection on Romans 15:13, Psalm 42:5, and Hebrews 6:19

You give hope—when the world offers despair,

When the night is long and no one seems to care.

You are the anchor for my soul, the light in the dark,

The One who ignites the smallest spark.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

Hope—not a wish upon a star,

But a confidence that You are who You are.

You are faithful, You are true,

You make all things new.

Hope—when the future seems unclear,

When the path is steep and the way is drear.

You are the Shepherd who leads me through,

The One who makes my spirit new.

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God. (Psalm 42:5)

You give hope—through every trial and test,

You give me strength to face the rest.

Not because life is easy or fair,

But because I know that You are there.

You give hope—for today, for tomorrow,

For the joy that follows sorrow.

You are the God who brings life from death,

Who gives strength with every breath.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. (Hebrews 6:19)

You give hope—not in things that fade,

But in the promises that You have made.

Eternal, unchanging, steadfast, and sure,

The hope in You will endure.

So I thank You, Lord, for this gift so true,

Hope that is found only in You.

In the valley, on the peak,

You are the hope that I seek.

Amen.

Restore my Life.

 Restore My Life

A Reflection on Joel 2:25, Psalm 40:2-3, and 1 Peter 5:10

Restore my life, O Lord—the years the locusts have eaten,

The dreams that have withered, the hopes that have been beaten.

Restore the joy that once filled my heart,

Restore the peace that sin pulled apart.

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.” (Joel 2:25)

Restore my soul—the places worn thin by grief,

The joy that faded, the hope that seemed so brief.

Let the oil of gladness pour where sorrow used to dwell.

In the name of Jesus, let the springs of life swell.

Restore my body—every cell, every bone.

Let the healing power of the risen Lord be known.

What was broken, mend; what was lost, retrieve.

In the name of Jesus, I choose to believe.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. (Psalm 40:2)

Restore my spirit—the weariness that weighs me down.

Let the river of Your Spirit rise and turn my frown

Into a smile of hope, a song of praise,

A life that shines through all my days.

Restore my relationships—the bridges burned by pride.

Let forgiveness flow like a deep and cleansing tide.

Where there was estrangement, let love take its place.

In the name of Jesus, cover us with grace.

Restore my purpose—the calling I let slip.

Renew the vision, strengthen my grip.

The enemy stole, but You have come to give life,

And life abundantly, through Your own sacrifice.

And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. (1 Peter 5:10)

Restore my hope—when the future seems so bleak.

Let me trust in You, the One who is meek

And humble, yet mighty to save.

Let me find my rest in the eternal wave

Of Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace.

Restore my life, Lord—let me see Your face.

Restore my worship—when my song has grown cold.

Let the fire of Your Spirit in my heart unfold.

Let me sing with joy, let me pray with faith,

Let me walk in the light of Your glorious grace.

So I receive Your restoration—not in part, but full.

The name of Jesus breaks every yoke, pulls down every wall.

I declare that the old has passed; behold, the new has come.

Restore my life, Lord—my victory, my home.

Amen.

Praise to the Living God.

 Praise to the Living God

A Reflection on Jeremiah 10:10, Psalm 150:6, and Revelation 1:8

Praise to the living God—not a stone that cannot feel,

Not an idol blind and deaf, not a myth the ages seal.

He is the One who speaks, who breathes, who walks among His people still,

Who bends the heavens and yet bends low to do His holy will.

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. (Jeremiah 10:10)

Living—not a memory or a creed,

But a risen, reigning Savior who meets us in our need.

The tomb could not contain Him; death could not hold its breath.

He is alive, and because He lives, we have no fear of death.

Praise Him for His power—the breath that filled the void,

The voice that calls the stars by name, the strength that's employed

To hold the universe in place, yet bends to hear our prayer,

To lift the fallen, heal the broken, and show us that He cares.

Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens! (Psalm 150:1)

Praise Him for His mercy—new every single day,

For His steadfast love that never, ever fades away.

He does not treat us as our sins deserve, nor repay us for our wrongs.

His mercy is the constant rhythm to which our hearts belong.

Praise Him in the morning, when the sun begins to rise.

Praise Him in the evening, when the moon adorns the skies.

Praise Him in the storm, when the rain is pouring down.

Praise Him at the altar, where our hearts lay down their crown.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 150:6)

Praise to the living God—not for what He gives,

But for who He is: the reason that we live.

The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,

Our Savior, our Redeemer, our dearest, closest Friend.

Praise to the living God—let every heart proclaim.

From everlasting to everlasting, He is worthy of our acclaim.

Praise to the living God—now and forevermore,

The One who was, and is, and is to come—we adore.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

Amen.

I surrender my all to you.

I Surrender My All to You

A Reflection on Romans 12:1, Galatians 2:20, and Matthew 16:24

I surrender my all to You—not a part, but the whole.

Every dream, every plan, every longing of my soul.

Not a reluctant offering, not a gift given in fear,

But a joyful, willing laying down of all I hold most dear.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

I surrender my past—the victories and the shame,

The chapters I would rewrite, the scars that still bear a name.

Let Your forgiveness wash it clean, let Your healing make it new.

I give it all to You, Lord—every memory, good and true.

I surrender my present—this moment, this breath, this hour.

Let Your will be done in me, let Your Spirit give me power.

Not my plans, but Yours. Not my way, but Your design.

Take my hands, my feet, my voice—let them be wholly Thine.

I surrender my future—the unknown, the yet‑to‑be,

The dreams I've held so tightly, the things I long to see.

I place them in Your hands, for You alone can see

What is best for Your glory and what is best for me.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

I surrender my will—the stubborn, grasping "I,"

The need to be in control, the fear of asking why.

Break the proud resistance, melt the heart of stone.

Let Your will be done in me, and let me not alone.

I surrender my treasures—my time, my talent, my gold.

Everything I have and am is Yours to have and hold.

Not because You need my offering, but because I need to lay

My all before Your feet, and learn to trust Your way.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me." (Matthew 16:24)

So here I am, Lord. I let go.

No more holding back, no more "no."

I trust Your heart, I trust Your plan,

I give my life into Your hand.

I surrender. All. Everything.

My Savior, my Lord, my King.

Amen.

I worship you.

 I Worship You

A Reflection on John 4:24, Psalm 95:6, and Revelation 4:11

I worship You—not with empty, practiced phrase,

Not with lips that move while my heart is wandering other ways.

Not with ritual, not with performance, not with a show for human eyes,

But in the hidden place where only You can realize

The deepest longing of my soul—the need to know Your face,

To kneel before Your holiness and rest within Your grace.

God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

I worship You—with all that I am,

With every breath, with every "I am."

My hands are lifted, my heart is bowed,

My voice is raised, my spirit is awed.

I worship You for who You are—

My Morning Star, my Shelter, my Scar.

You are the Lamb who was slain,

The Lion who rose and will come again.

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things.” (Revelation 4:11)

I worship You—not for what You give,

But for the life You died for me to live.

I worship You in the silence and the song,

When I am weak and when I am strong.

So I lay my life before Your throne,

Not with perfection, but with a heart that is Your own.

I worship You—today, tomorrow, always,

For You are worthy of all my praise.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. (Psalm 95:6)

Amen.

It's all about you, Jesus.

 It's All About You, Jesus

A Reflection on Colossians 1:18, Revelation 4:11, and John 3:30

It's all about You, Jesus—not about my plans or fame,

Not about my achievements, not about my name.

You are the center, the beginning and the end,

The Alpha and Omega, my Savior and my Friend.

He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. (Colossians 1:18)

It's all about You—the cross, the empty grave,

The victory over death, the power to save.

It's not about my goodness, my efforts, or my strength,

But about Your grace that goes to any length.

You are the reason I wake up each day,

The reason I worship, the reason I pray.

You are the melody, the harmony, the song,

The One to whom all creation belongs.

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things.” (Revelation 4:11)

It's all about You, Jesus—not about my needs,

But about Your glory, Your purposes, Your deeds.

When I sing, let it be for You;

When I serve, let it be for You;

When I live, let it be for You,

In everything I say and do.

May I decrease and You increase,

May Your name be the one that brings release.

I am not the center; I am not the King.

It's all about You, Jesus—to You my heart will sing.

He must become greater; I must become less. (John 3:30)

So take my life, Lord—it is Yours.

My hopes, my dreams, my future, my doors.

Not for my glory, but for Your name,

Let all of my life proclaim the same:

It's all about You, Jesus—now and forever,

My anchor, my refuge, my great endeavor.

In life, in death, in joy, in pain,

It's all about You—and I will not be the same.

Amen.

Bless my Heart.

 Bless My Heart

A Prayer for Inner Transformation

Bless my heart, O Lord—the wellspring of my life,

The source of every thought, the seat of joy and strife.

Let it be pure, let it be true,

Let it beat in rhythm with You.

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23)

Bless my heart—melt the cold, the stubborn stone,

Replace it with a heart of flesh, a heart that is Your own.

Let love flow freely, let anger cease,

Let Your peace be my inward release.

Create in me a clean heart, a heart that seeks Your will,

A heart that loves Your presence, a heart that is still.

Renew a steadfast spirit within me, Lord,

And let my heart be a dwelling place for Your holy Word.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10)

Bless my heart—with kindness, with compassion, with grace,

With the courage to forgive, with the wisdom to embrace.

Let it be generous, let it be kind,

Let it be a reflection of Your heart and mind.

Protect my heart from bitterness, from pride, from fear,

From the lies that whisper, "You are not welcome here."

Let Your love be its shield, Your truth be its guide,

And let my heart find its rest in Your side.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)

Bless my heart—that it may love as You have loved,

That it may seek the lost and lift the unloved.

Let my heart be a wellspring of life,

A vessel of mercy, a peacemaker in strife.

So I entrust my heart to You, the One who knows it best.

Heal its wounds, calm its fears, and give it perfect rest.

Bless my heart, O Lord—make it more like Yours,

For it is my heart that You forever adore.

Amen.
