Peace in Gale's Life storms

Here’s a prayer-poem for **overcoming fear in life’s storms**, anchored in God’s promises. May it steady your heart:

---

### **"Peace in the Gale"**

Lord, the storm is roaring—waves crash high,

Fear shouts loud as the wind sweeps by.

But here in the chaos, I hear You call:

*“Take courage, child. I rule them all.”*

> *“He made the storm be still,

> and the waves of the sea were hushed.”*

> **—Psalm 107:29**

When the boat feels frail and the night grows long,

When doubt sings cold its crushing song—

Fix my eyes on You, awake in the stern,

Your voice my compass, Your love my lantern.

> *“Why are you so afraid?

> Do you still have no faith?”*

> **—Mark 4:40**

> *“In this world you will have trouble.

> But take heart! I have overcome the world.”*

> **—John 16:33**

**So I speak to my soul:**

*“Be still—know He’s God.

This tempest is tethered

by the staff and the rod

of the Shepherd who walks

on the rage of the deep,

who commands even whirlwinds

to rock you to sleep.”*

> *“When you pass through the waters,

> I will be with you;

> and through the rivers,

> they shall not overwhelm you.”*

> **—Isaiah 43:2**

I will not fear the thunder’s roar,

For You are with me—here, at the core.

Your peace, a cloak wrapped ‘round my frame,

Stronger than cyclone, flood, or flame.

### 🔹 *A Prayer to Declare*:

> *“Jesus, You are **in my boat**. Calm the storm within me first. Still the waves of my anxiety, the winds of my ‘what-ifs.’ Anchor me to Your victory. Flood this chaos with Your *‘Peace, be still’* (Mark 4:39). I rebuke fear in Your name—for You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). I stand **on Your peace** now. Amen.”*

### 🌪️ *3 Truths to Hold*:

1. **He is in control** — *"Even winds and waves obey Him!"* (Matthew 8:27).

2. **He is with you** — *"You are never alone"* (Deuteronomy 31:8).

3. **Storms end** — *"Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning"* (Psalm 30:5).

**Breathe deep**. The One who walked on water *holds your hand*. The storm is temporary—His peace is eternal. You are overcoming. ⚓✝️
