God's Promise

Here is a poem grounded in the eternal, unbreakable promises of God — a testament to His faithfulness when all else fails:

---

### **THE OATH THAT HOLDS THE STARS**

**Genesis 8:22, Hebrews 6:13-20**

When chaos gnaws the edges of your soul,

And every earthly anchor starts to roll,

When hope seems but a rumor, faint and thin —

*Remember how the seasons enter in:*

**"While earth remains,"** His vow stands like the dawn,

**"Seedtime, harvest, cold and heat — go on."**

No flood can breach this covenant He made —

His bow still bends where judgment once was laid.

---

When deserts choke the gardens of your prayer,

And heaven’s face feels silent, stark, and bare,

When faith is just a flicker in the night —

*Recall the stars that burned for Abraham’s sight:*

**"Count them, if you can."** His oath took flight,

Though age had cracked his body, sealed his night.

**God swore by Self** — no higher name to give —

So Abraham *believed*, and dared to live.

*(Genesis 15:5-6, Hebrews 6:13)*

---

When guilt screams louder than redemption’s song,

And shame insists you don’t to God belong —

*Hear the scarred Hands that split your prison bars:*

**"I have engraved you on the palms that bear the stars."**

Zion herself might fade from mortal gaze,

**But you? I will remember — all your days.**

Could ink erase the wounds Love chose to own?

Your name’s cut deep into the Living Stone.

*(Isaiah 49:15-16)*

---

When death’s cold fingers brush your trembling skin,

And shadows whisper, *"This is where hope ends"* —

*Know this: the tomb is where His vow begins:*

**"Because I live — you too will rise again."**

The grave’s dark curtain tore from top to base —

**His yes outshouts the void’s last hiding place.**

No borrowed light — He *is* the Resurrection Sun —

Death kneels, undone. The victory’s *won*.

*(John 14:19, 1 Corinthians 15:55-57)*

---

When you have wept till language finds no sound,

And dread’s dark tide pulls all your undergound —

*Lean hard upon the Priest who knows your frame:*

**"Never will I leave you. Always, the same —

Yesterday, today, forever near,

Drowning your chaos in My perfect cheer."**

No "if," no "maybe" — only **"I AM HERE."**

*(Hebrews 13:5-8, Matthew 28:20)*

---

So plant your feet on promises concrete:

**The God who bled for you cannot retreat.**

Let hell roar lies — let kingdoms rise and fall —

**His oath sustains the universe and all.**

Not one word fails, not one grace disappears —

**His blood-sealed vows outlast a thousand years.**

The dawn *will* break. The tempest *will* cease.

Hold fast, frail heart: His covenant is peace.

*(Isaiah 54:10, Joshua 23:14)*

---

**"You swore — You bleed — You stay.

I’m held.

I’m kept.

I’m Yours.

Amen."**

---

### **SCRIPTURAL ANCHORS**

1. **Genesis 8:22** — God’s promise of earth’s rhythms.

2. **Hebrews 6:13-20** — God’s unchangeable oath sworn by Himself.

3. **Isaiah 49:15-16** — *"I will not forget you… engraved on My hands."*

4. **John 14:19** — *"Because I live, you also will live."*

5. **Hebrews 13:5-6** — *"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."*

6. **Isaiah 54:10** — *"My unfailing love for you will not be shaken."*

He does not promise *ease* — but He vows *presence*. He does not vow no storms — but He swears *anchors*. His Word is His bond. His scars are His signature. Rest here. 🔥
