A Godly Counsel

 **"The Godly Counsel"**  

*A Psalm of Divine Guidance*  

**Key Scripture:**  

*"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked... but whose delight is in the law of the Lord."* (Psalm 1:1-2)  

**Verse 1:**  

*Not the world’s loud, shifting voice,*  

*Not the cynic’s barren creed—*  

*But whispers from the throne of grace,*  

*Where wise men bend to meet my need (Proverbs 15:22).*  

**Chorus:**  

*"Counsel of the godly!*  

*Steady as the ancient stars.*  

*Rooted deep in Scripture’s light,*  

*It guards my path and stills my heart."*  

**Verse 2:**  

*Like Nathan bold to David’s sin,*  

*Like Priscilla taught Apollos true (Acts 18:26)—*  

*Your saints still speak through Spirit’s breath,*  

*Their words like honey, tried and new (Proverbs 24:13-14).*

*"When crossroads loom and fears arise,*  

*When fools shout ‘Quick, decide!’*  

*I’ll seek the ones whose weathered hands*  

*Still bear the nail-scarred Guide’s design."*
