Lord Jesus: Your name is the highest.

*"Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."*

### **1. The Name Above All Names**  

- **No name compares to Jesus.**  

  - Not rulers, not religions, not philosophies—*His name alone saves* (Acts 4:12).  

  - Demons tremble at it (James 2:19).  

  - The sick are healed in it (Acts 3:6).  

  - The dead are raised by it (Acts 9:40).  

- **The name "Jesus" (Yeshua) means "The Lord Saves."**  

  - It declares His mission, His power, and His eternal reign.

### **2. Why Is His Name the Highest?**  

- **Because the Father decreed it.**  

  - After Jesus’ obedience *"to death on a cross"* (Philippians 2:8), God *"exalted Him"* (v. 9).  

- **Because His name breaks every chain.**  

  - *"Through His name, everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."* (Acts 10:43)  

- **Because His name unites heaven and earth.**  

  - One day, *"every knee will bow"*—willingly or unwillingly—to His lordship (Isaiah 45:23).

### **3. How Should We Respond?**  

**A. Worship Him as Supreme**  

- *"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!"* (Psalm 150:6)  

**B. Pray in His Name**  

- *"Whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."* (John 14:13)  

**C. Proclaim His Name Boldly**  

- *"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"* (Romans 10:15)  

**D. Live Under His Authority**  

- *"In Him we live and move and have our being."* (Acts 17:28)

*"Jesus—Your name is the highest!  

Higher than the might of kings,  

Deeper than the wisdom of ages,  

Stronger than the gates of hell.  

At Your name, darkness flees.  

At Your name, captives are freed.  

At Your name, the dead rise.  

At Your name, heaven rejoices!  

I bow my heart before You today.  

Rule in me, reign through me, glorify Yourself in me.  

Let my life declare:  

**‘Jesus Christ is Lord!’**  

Until the day every knee bows,  

Keep me faithful to Your name.
