### **1. The Meaning of God’s Countenance**  

To have the **countenance (face/presence) of the Holy Spirit upon you** means:  

- **Favor** – *"For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield."* (Psalm 5:12)  

- **Light** – *"The Lord is my light and my salvation."* (Psalm 27:1)  

- **Peace** – *"You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You."* (Isaiah 26:3)  

- **Approval & Intimacy** – *"The Lord turned to him and said, ‘Go in this your strength.’"* (Judges 6:14)

**"Holy Spirit—**  

Turn Your face toward me.  

Let the light of Your presence dispel every shadow in my heart.  

Shine upon me with the Father’s favor,  

That I may walk in the assurance of Your love.  

**Where I have grieved You,**  

*Bring conviction.*  

**Where I have wandered,**  

*Draw me back.*  

**Where I have doubted,**  

*Reveal Your faithfulness.*  

**May Your countenance upon me:**  

- **Break every curse** (Numbers 22:12)  

- **Silence every accuser** (Zechariah 3:1-2)  

- **Release healing & wholeness** (Malachi 4:2)  

- **Anoint me for Kingdom purpose** (Acts 10:38)  

**Let my life reflect Your glory,**  

So others see *You* in me.  

As Moses’ face shone after meeting with You (Exodus 34:29),  

Let my spirit radiate Your presence.  

**I hide in the shadow of Your wings** (Psalm 17:8).  

**I rest in the smile of Your face.**  

**I move in the power of Your gaze.**
