I will build my Life in God.

**I will build my life in God,**  

On the Rock that cannot shake—  

Not on sand, nor shifting sod,  

But the One who makes no mistake.  

Every brick laid in surrender,  

Every wall raised up in prayer,  

Every step in faith so tender—  

Christ, my Cornerstone, is there.  

Storms may rage and winds may blow,  

Floods may rise with furious tide,  

But this house will firmly grow,  

For the Lord is at my side.  

No foundation built by hands  

Can endure the test of years,  

But what stands on Your commands  

Will outlast the weight of fears.  

So I build my life in You,  

Not by strength, but by Your grace.  

Every hope, each dream made new,  

Fixed upon Your holy face.
