Every breath of my life, i declare the goodness of God.

Amen. This is the ultimate act of worship—a commitment to turn every moment, every inhalation and exhalation, into a testament of God's unwavering goodness. It is a declaration of faith that chooses to see His hand in all things.

Here is a poem of proclamation and praise, a declaration for a lifetime.

---

With Every Breath

With the first gasp of morning's light,

Before my mind can grasp the day,

Before my strength can join the fight,

Before I even know to pray—

With this breath, I declare:

The Lord is good.

In the steady rhythm of the noon,

In daily bread,in task and chore,

In simple,ordinary tune,

In blessings I can't ignore—

With this breath, I declare:

The Lord is good.

When sudden laughter fills my chest,

In joy that I cannot contain,

In well-earned,deeply-needed rest,

In sunshine and in healing rain—

With this breath, I declare:

The Lord is good.

And when the air is sharp with pain,

When sorrow makes it hard to breathe,

When I look for sun,but see the rain,

And only Your promises I can cleave—

Even then, with this ragged breath,

I will declare: The Lord is good.

For Your goodness is not a fleeting mood,

Tied to my shallow understanding.

It is Your eternal,settled character,

A rock of ages,ever-standing.

So until my final breath is spent,

A whisper on the air,

This will be my life's intent,

My only purpose and my prayer:

Every breath of my life,

I declare Your goodness, God.

In the rising and the resting,

Beneath the smile or the rod.

Let every heartbeat echo, "Grace,"

And every exhalation, "Praise."

For You are good, and in this place,

I'll declare it all my days.

"I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth."

— Psalm 34:1

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!"

— Psalm 150:6
