From the first cry of my birth,

To my last moments on this earth,

Through every season in between,

A thread of faithfulness,unseen

At first,but now in view so clear,

Has held me,year after year.

All my life, You have been faithful.

In childhood's sunlit, simple days,

In forming and in guiding ways.

In the restless search of youth,

You were the anchor of my truth.

When I wandered,when I strayed,

Your patient love would never fade.

Through the years of building dreams,

By quiet waters,turbulent streams.

In the joy of love I found,

Your word,a lamp unto my feet,

All my life, You have been faithful.

And now I look back on the road,

The heavy,yet the lighter load.

I see the footprints in the sand,

The constant grip of Your great hand.

Not one good thing have You withheld,

As Your great story has unfolded.

So for the days I have ahead,

Though unknown paths I must tread,

I have no reason for despair,

I place my life within Your care.

For if the past is my sure guide,

Then in Your promise,I'll abide.

From my first to my final breath,

In life,and even after death—

All my life, You are faithful,

My God, my Rock, my All.
