My Jesus, My Eternal Light.

Here's a poetic journey through **John 3**—the heartbeat of the Gospel—woven with Scripture and centered on its life-changing truths:

### **"NIGHT VISITOR, ETERNAL LIGHT"**

*A Poem Through John 3*

**A ruler comes by cover of night—**

Seeking answers, craving light.

*“Rabbi, we know You’re sent from God!”*

But flesh-born eyes see only odd

Signs and wonders, truth half-told…

**Then Christ shatters his world of old:**

>*“Unless one is born again, he cannot see…*

>*The kingdom of God’s mystery.”*

>—**John 3:3**

**Wind blows where it wills, unseen, unknown—**

**So is every heart by Spirit born!**

*Not by blood, nor human desire,*

*But water and Spirit—Holy Fire!*

>*“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but Spirit gives birth to spirit.”*

>—**John 3:6**

**Then the Teacher lifts his eyes—**

**Points to Sinai’s serpent raised:**

>*“Just as Moses lifted high the snake,*

>*So must the Son of Man be raised!*

>*That all who look in faith may live—*

***Eternal life, My Father gives.”***

>—**John 3:14–15**

**For here it comes—the verse that sings**

**Past walls of time, on angel wings:**

>*“For God so loved the world—yes, YOU—*

>*He gave His only Son, so true,*

>*That whoever trusts in Him, believes,*

>*Not lost but found, grace receives!”*

>—**John 3:16**

**No condemnation from His hand—**

**He came to save a broken land!**

*But those who turn from Light’s embrace*

*Choose judgment in their hiding place.*

>*“Whoever believes stands not condemned…*

>*But whoever rejects stands judged already.”*

>—**John 3:18, 3:36**

**Oh, come to Light! Let deeds be shown—**

**No fear in Truth, for you are known!**

*Reborn! Remade! By Love set free!*

*Born from above eternally!*

>*“Whoever lives by truth steps into the Light!”*

>—**John 3:21**

### 💡 **THE BORN-AGAIN PARADOX**

> *“How can someone be born when they are old?”* (John 3:4)

**Answer:**

- **Not physical** but *spiritual* rebirth (v. 6)

- **Not human effort** but *Spirit’s work* (v. 8)

- **Not understood** but *experienced* (v. 8)

### 🔥 **JOHN 3:16’S 7 REVOLUTIONS**

1. **Scope:** *“The world”* (not just Israel)

2. **Motivation:** *“So loved”* (unearned affection)

3. **Action:** *“He gave”* (sacrificial initiative)

4. **Gift:** *“His one and only Son”* (priceless cost)

5. **Condition:** *“Whoever believes”* (universal offer)

6. **Rescue:** *“Shall not perish”* (from wrath)

7. **Promise:** *“Eternal life”* (present & future!)

### 🙏 **NICODEMUS’S PRAYER (AND OURS):**

> *“Lord Jesus—

> I come like Nicodemus—

> Curious yet cautious,

> Needing more than knowledge—

> Needing *Life*.

>

> Blow through my soul like that untamed wind!

> Wash me in Your living water.

> Lift my eyes to Your cross—

> The serpent-crushing, death-reversing proof

> That God *so loved* even me.

>

> I believe—

> Help my unbelief.

> Make me *born again*.

> In Your name,

> Amen.”*

### 🌟 **THE CHAPTER’S LAST WORD (JOHN 3:36):**

> *“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”*

**Two paths:**

- ✝️ **BELIEVE →** *Has* eternal life (present tense!)

- ☠️ **REJECT →** *Wrath remains* (no neutral ground)

**John 3 isn’t just a chapter—it’s the crossroads of eternity.**

Where religion meets rebirth.

Where questions meet *the Answer*.

Where night meets the Light of the World (**John 8:12**).

*"You must be born again—*

*Not of the flesh, but Spirit-breath.

Look to the Cross—defier of death.

Believe, and live!"* 💖
