Give life for those who does not sin unto death.

Life for Those Who Do Not Sin unto Death

This is a deep and comforting truth from Scripture—that for those who are in Christ, who walk in faith and obedience, there is the promise of life, not death.

📖 The Scripture

"If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that." (1 John 5:16)

The apostle John distinguishes between sin that leads to physical or spiritual death and sin that, though grievous, does not result in eternal separation from God. For those who are in Christ, whose sins are covered by His blood, there is always the offer of life through repentance and grace.

✨ What This Means

Truth Assurance

Sin has consequences Some sin leads to spiritual death—persistent, unrepentant rejection of God (Hebrews 10:26-27).

But for believers, grace abounds For those in Christ, sin does not have the final word. "Where sin increased, grace increased all the more" (Romans 5:20).

Prayer restores We are called to intercede for one another, that those who stumble may be lifted up and receive life.

Eternal life is secure Those who truly belong to Christ have passed from death to life (John 5:24).

🕊️ A Poetic Declaration

To those who do not sin unto death, I give life—

Not by their merit, not by their striving,

But by the grace of the One who is thriving

In the hearts of all who call upon His name,

Who are covered by the blood of the slain Lamb.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

When a brother stumbles, when a sister falls,

When the weight of sin presses and calls

For judgment, for condemnation, for despair,

I will lift them up in fervent prayer.

For there is life in the name of Jesus—

Life that flows from the cross and frees us.

Life that restores, that heals, that mends,

Life that never, ever ends.

Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (John 11:26)

To those who walk in faith, though they may trip,

I give the promise of relationship—

Not a life of perfect, sinless ease,

But a life of grace upon their knees.

For the righteous fall seven times and rise again,

Not in their own strength, but by the Spirit within.

And the life they live is hid with Christ in God,

Secured by His covenant, sealed by His blood.

For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again. (Proverbs 24:16)

So let us live, and let us pray,

For one another every day.

That those who stumble may find their feet,

And in the grace of God, be complete.

For to those who do not sin unto death,

There is life—eternal life—through faith.

Not a life of our own making,

But a life in Christ, never forsaking.

This is the promise, this is the truth:

In Jesus, we have eternal youth.

Life forever, life abundant, life so free—

Given to all who believe in Thee.

Amen.
