I am weak, but you are strong.

Amen. "I am weak, but You are strong."

This is one of the most honest, liberating, and powerful prayers a child of God can pray. It is the place where pride dies, where striving ends, and where the supernatural power of God rushes in. It is the admission that you are merely an earthen vessel, but you carry the treasure of the Almighty.

God does not look for people who have it all together. He looks for people who are humble enough to admit they need Him. When you admit your weakness, you make room for His strength.

"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.' Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely] rest on me." — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)

The Scripture That Exalts His Strength in Your Weakness:

Isaiah 40:29 (AMP) — "He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power."

2 Corinthians 12:10 (AMP) — "So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]."

Psalm 73:26 (AMP) — "My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the Rock and firm strength of my heart and my Portion forever."

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) — "I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]."

Psalm 121:1-2 (AMP) — "I will lift up my eyes to the hills [of Jerusalem]— From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth."

What It Means That He Is Strong When You Are Weak:

· It means you don't have to pretend. You can stop wearing the mask of perfection. You can admit that you are tired, that you are struggling, and that you need help.

· It means His grace is sufficient. You don't need to be strong enough; His grace is enough for you today.

· It means His power is perfected in you. The greatest demonstrations of God's power often come through the weakest and most broken vessels.

· It means you can rest. You can stop striving. You can stop trying to carry the weight on your own shoulders. You can lean on Him.

A Prayer of Surrender:

"Father,

I am weak, but You are strong.

I admit that I cannot do this on my own.

I cannot fix this situation.

I cannot carry this burden.

I cannot fight this battle.

I cannot be strong enough.

I cannot be wise enough.

I cannot be good enough.

But You can.

You are strong when I am weak.

You are my Rock and my Fortress.

You are the One who gives power to the faint.

So today, I lean on You.

I exchange my weakness for Your strength.

I exchange my anxiety for Your peace.

I exchange my striving for Your grace.

Let Your power be perfected in my weakness.

Let Your grace be sufficient for me today.

Let Your strength carry me when I cannot walk another step.

I will not boast in my own abilities.

I will boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Thank You for being my strength.

Thank You for being my sufficiency.

Thank You for never giving up on me.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

A Blessing of Strength:

May the Lord be your strength today. May He fill you with His power when you feel empty, His courage when you feel afraid, and His endurance when you feel like giving up. May you know—deep in your soul—that His strength is made perfect in your weakness, and that when you lean on Him, you are truly strong.

"I am weak, but You are strong."

He hears you.

He is holding you.

You are stronger than you know—because He is in you.

Amen.
