Forgive my Sin.

 Amen. "Forgive my sin" is the most honest and humble prayer a soul can pray—a confession that we have missed the mark, that we need mercy, and that we cannot save ourselves. It is the prayer of David after his fall, the cry of the tax collector in the temple, and the hope of every sinner who turns to God.

You Are Made New You are a new creation in Christ. "The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

You Are Free There is no condemnation for those in Christ. "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1)

Father,

I come before You with a humble and repentant heart.

I confess my sin to You—

The ones I remember and the ones I have forgotten.

I do not hide my wrongs.

I do not excuse my failures.

I lay them all before You.

Forgive my sin.

Wash me clean by the blood of Jesus.

Blot out my transgressions.

Remember my sins no more.

Create in me a clean heart.

Renew a steadfast spirit within me.

I receive Your forgiveness.
