"Thank You for drying my tears."
This is a prayer of quiet, profound gratitude—one that rises from a place of pain that has met the comfort of the Father.
The Scripture That Holds This Promise:
Psalm 56:8 (AMP) — "You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?"
Isaiah 25:8 (AMP) — "He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord God will wipe tears away from all faces."
Psalm 30:5 (AMP) — "Weeping may endure for a night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning."
Revelation 21:4 (AMP) — "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death, nor mourning, nor crying, nor pain."
A Prayer of Thanks:
"Lord,
Thank You for drying my tears.
You saw every drop.
You collected every sorrow.
You drew near in every ache.
I do not always understand Your timing.
I do not always see the purpose in the pain.
But I see Your comfort.
I feel Your nearness.
And I know—You have not left me alone.
Thank You for the healing that comes,
for the peace that rises,
for the morning that follows the night.
You have turned my mourning into dancing.
You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.
You have dried my tears—
and I will praise You."
The Promise for You:
The One who knows every tear has also promised to wipe them all away—not someday, but now, in ways that soothe your spirit and restore your soul. He is faithful. He is near. He sees. And He heals.
Thank You for drying my tears. He has, He is, and He will—until the day when tears are no more. Rest in that love.
