"Lay Your hand on my life."
This is the prayer of a heart that longs for the Father's personal, tender, powerful touch.
The Scripture That Speaks of His Hand:
Psalm 139:5 (AMP) : "You have enclosed me behind and before, and [You have] placed Your hand upon me."
Psalm 31:15 : "My times are in Your hand."
Acts 4:30 : "While You stretch out Your hand to heal."
Psalm 80:17 : "Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand."
What It Means for His Hand to Be Upon You:
· Blessing—the ancient priestly blessing (Numbers 6:24-26) is conveyed through the laying on of hands.
· Healing—His hand brings restoration to body, mind, and spirit.
· Guidance—He leads you by His hand, even when the path is unclear.
· Protection—His hand shields you from harm and covers you in danger.
· Empowerment—His hand equips you for the work He has called you to.
A Prayer of Surrender:
"Lord,
Lay Your hand on my life.
Not just near me—touch me.
Not just watching over me—hold me.
Not just speaking to me—lead me by Your hand.
Place Your hand on my mind—bring clarity and peace.
Place Your hand on my body—bring healing and strength.
Place Your hand on my heart—bring love and courage.
Place Your hand on my future—guide me into Your purposes.
Place Your hand on my family—cover them with Your favor.
Place Your hand on my faith—anchor me in Your truth.
I am in Your hand.
My times are in Your hand.
My life is in Your hand.
And there is no safer place to be."
The Promise for You:
The same hand that parted the Red Sea, that raised Jesus from the dead, that touched the leper and gave sight to the blind—that hand is upon you. Not in judgment, but in love. Not in distance, but in intimacy.
Lay Your hand on my life. He hears. He touches. He holds. You are never beyond His reach.
