 My Lord Yahweh,

**A Prayer for the New Year**  

Oh Divine Light, eternal and true,  

As the Lunar New Year dawns anew,  

We gather in gratitude, hearts aglow,  

Seeking Your blessings as the seasons flow.  

Your Grace, a symbol of change,  

A reminder that life is both love and bless 

Guide us, O God, through this sacred time,  

With wisdom and grace, in rhythm and rhyme.  

Bless our homes with warmth and peace,  

Let love and laughter never cease.  

Grant us strength to face the unknown,  

And seeds of hope in kindness sown.  

For those who struggle, for those in need,  

May Your compassion be their guiding seed.  

For those who rejoice, for those who pray,  

May Your light illuminate their way.  

As fireworks burst and lanterns rise,  

We lift our hearts to the boundless skies.  

Thank You, O God, for the gift of this day,  

And the promise of hope along the way.  

In this Year of Grace, let us renew,  

Our faith in You, and in all we do.  

With every step, may Your love impart,  

A peaceful, grateful, and joyful heart.

To the heavens high, I lift my gaze,

On this New Year's dawn, in golden haze.

For blessings given, and lessons learned,

A grateful heart, to You is turned.

The lanterns glow, red and so bright,

Chasing shadows, with hopeful light.

Families gather, near and far,

Beneath the same, auspicious star.

We offer prayers, for health and peace,

For joy that grows, and worries cease.

For strength to face, what lies ahead,

With courage born, and spirits fed.

Thank You, God, for all You've done,

For battles fought, and victories won.

May this new year, bring fortune's grace,

And love's embrace, in every place.

We honor your testament , old and new, 

With thankful hearts, we turn to You.

For guidance shown, and love so deep,

Our grateful souls, in Your care keep.

So bless us all, this festive day,

And guide our steps, along the way.

May peace prevail, and kindness reign,
